Hey all
I’m not trying to dominate the message board or anything, just thought I”d post something new to view since I appreciate becoming a member here!
It’s a fun server with excellent maps and the members aren’t too angry with each other to socialize. Keep it lite folks.
I want to share the origin of my game name. Home-stahhhh
I was a big fan of HomestarRunner.com back in the day.
The website was an interactive flash site and cartoon portal from 1996.
The interactive website became outdated since the rise of You Tube, so the cartoons were all uploaded onto You Tube.
Here are a hand full of some of the cartoons.
About the main Character:
Homestar Runner is his name, his charm is his innocence, his warped views, and of course his stupidity.
It’s brought to hilarity with his speech impediment!
About the cartoon’s success. It became more popular when the writers decided to let Strong Bad (one of the characters ) answer actual emails from fans.
His reading of the emails is a funny take on words, and his replies are funny.
